Mr. Daniel SampleRE: Award Nominees
Dear Mr. Sample:
On behalf of Medical Health Inc., I would like to present our nominations for the "Employee Award" and the "Innovative Services To Those Who Are Poor Award." One nominee is a valorous, longtime director of paramedic services, while the other is our Nursing Assistant Training Program Curriculum, established to help train and recruit desperately needed entry-level health caregivers.
For the "Employee Award," it is with great pleasure that we nominate Larry Jones, Director of Paramedic and Support Services at Medical Community Hospital, and Director of Security and Paramedics at Medical Children’s Hospital. Not only has he performed exemplary work in his role as overseeing the paramedic, valet, security, and environmental services departments, but his outstanding attitude and tireless work ethic has also garnered him numerous awards for his endless hours of community services. In 1999, Mr. Jones received the Heart of Medical Award – the highest such accolade at Medical Health, Inc. He is a "can do" person who has enriched the life of others through his participation in first aide training and safety programs, and through his efforts in expanding emergency health services. His personnel file is filled with letters of recognition and appreciation, including commendations for his rescue of a man stranded in the Delaware River after a torrential downpour eleven years ago.
For the Innovative Services To Those Who Are Poor Award, our nominee is the Medical Vocational High School Nursing Assistant Training Program. Established to help fulfill a critical shortage of health care workers, this training program’s goal is to prepare multi-skilled, entry-level healthcare personnel for employment in acute, long-term, home health and ambulatory care facilities. Through its core values of community, stewardship and reverence for each person, the Medical Vocational High School Nursing Assistant Training Program has excelled in providing new nursing assistants with a sound basis for competent and compassionate care giving.
I am proud of the accomplishments of both Mr. Jones and the Medical Vocational High School Nursing Assistant Training Program. Again, it is with great honor that I announce these nominations on behalf of Medical Health Inc.
Sincerely,
John Q. Official
